PFIZER SIGNS NEW SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH AUTONOMY

San Diego, Calif. - April 2, 2007 - Cardiff, a division of Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L) and leading provider of intelligent document solutions, today announced that Pfizer, the world's largest research-based pharmaceutical company, has signed an agreement to deploy Cardiff TeleForm v10.1 within the company for data capture. Cardiff's agreement with Pfizer is based on software license and maintenance fees.

Cardiff TeleForm can automatically classify, extract and validate a company's data from any paper document or form type in order to improve its data accuracy, reduce operating costs and accelerate business processes. On a single platform, Cardiff TeleForm can accelerate high-volume, high-accuracy information capture from paper and documents that are structured, semi- or unstructured in nature, received from either centralized or distributed locations. Additionally, TeleForm provides the deep and secure level of auditing and reporting required for compliance in heavily regulated industries, such as the pharmaceutical industry.
