Interwoven to Participate in Sun Microsystems' Multi-City Data Management Technology Tour

ECM solutions leader to discuss how enterprises can effectively achieve increased IT compliance

SUNNYVALE, Calif - February 22, 2006 - Interwoven, Inc. (Nasdaq: IWOV), provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions for business, today announced that it will participate in a multi-city technology tour with Sun Microsystems. Over the course of the tour, Interwoven will discuss how IT Operations departments within enterprises can effectively achieve increased IT compliance through a combination of Interwoven's industry-leading The Interwoven Composite Application Provisioning Solution and Sun storage. The Sun Data Management Technology Tour will take place in seven U.S. cities, February 23rd through April 5th.

With Sun, Interwoven is providing customers with a comprehensive approach for end-to-end IT compliance, enabling IT Operations to easily capture and store whole snapshots of Web applications taken from any point in time. As a result, enterprises can effectively address key compliance mandates-such as SEC and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations-which require that all customer and internal communications taking place via public-facing Web properties be retained.

Interwoven's participation in the tour further reinforces the company's strong ongoing collaboration with Sun, as evidenced by over 100 joint customers in financial services, telecommunications, government, and other industries. Through the combination of Sun's secure and reliable infrastructure and Interwoven's high performance ECM solutions, the two companies are providing customers with end-to-end management of unstructured content including: enterprise content management and records management; secure storage and archiving; identity management; and business process compliance. With a shared technology vision, including the adoption of JavaTM Enterprise Edition (Java EE) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Interwoven and Sun are helping to empower enterprises to drive positive IT change and increased compliance.
